Adams Has $250K Total Matched; Vogel Strong At $400K Raised

Republican attorney general candidate John Adams is starting to catch wind after massive blowback from the nasty and negative ads incumbent AG Mark Herring hurled at Justin Fairfax John Adams over the last three weeks, burning through cash in an effort to save the beleaguered Herring bid from being sandbagged by the top of the Democratic ticket.

Meanwhile, Jill Vogel is flexing some muscle at this rate, raising over $400K this cycle and bringing her total effort to $2.3 million against a lackluster yet sharply radical Fairfax campaign that has made preaching about a “second American revolution” in the spirit of Anifa extremists a hallmark of his campaign.

From the Adams campaign:

“We are seeing a real shift in momentum to our campaign,” said Nick Collette, campaign manager. “Voters have now started to be introduced to John Adams on television, and they are seeing very clearly why Virginia needs a new lawyer. Whether it’s the backdoor pay raises Mark Herring gave staff, or the Equal Pay lawsuit he settled with a female attorney in his office who was being paid less than her male counterparts, it’s clear that Mark Herring’s politics are bad for Virginia. John Adams is not a politician and will use his experience as a Naval officer, federal prosecutor and lawyer in private practice to provide solid legal counsel to Virginia, fight the heroin and opioid epidemic, and work to make sure children and neighborhoods across the Commonwealth are safe.”

The Vogel campaign could not be more ebullient about their odds at this rate:

“Our team is energized and ready to win,” responded Jill Vogel, Republican nominee for Lt. Governor. “We are very thankful to everyone who stepped up in July and August to help us get ready for the final stretch. With only 53 days until the election, we are ready to share our positive vision for making Virginia the nation’s best state to live, work, and raise a family.”

Republican nominee Ed Gillespie has yet to reveal his numbers via press release yet.  Stay tuned.
