Loudoun County parents wasted no time chastising members of the Loudoun County School Board Tuesday evening.

Their condemnation followed a report by the Daily Wire alleging a cover-up led to one father’s arrest at a school board meeting in June.

Authorities charged Scott Smith with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at a June 22 meeting. The meeting’s agenda included Critical Race Theory, transgender bathroom rights and public comment section Afterward, the image of sheriff deputies escorting a bloodied Smith away quickly went viral.

Some liberals used the display to portray parents as a dangerous threat to school personnel. Indeed, the National School Boards Association (NSBA) mentioned Smith’s arrest in a letter to the Biden administration.

The letter claimed that “extremist hate organizations” have held school board meetings hostage.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland accepted the association’s request and ordered the FBI to coordinate with local law enforcement to address the “disturbing spike” in the “rise in criminal conduct directed toward school personnel.”

However, there is no proof of an actual increase in violence.

Moreover, we’ve learned that Smith says that a boy wearing a dress sexually assaulted his daughter in the girl’s bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn. (Fox News)

“We can confirm a May 28, 2021 case that involved a thorough 2-month-long investigation that was conducted to determine the facts of the case prior to arrest,” the sheriff’s office told Fox News. “This case is still pending court proceedings. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is not able to provide any documents that pertain to a pending case.” The sheriff’s office confirmed that the case involved sexual assault.

All juvenile records are sealed, but Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told The Daily Wire that the boy was subsequently charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio.

Minutes before Smith’s arrest at the June 22 board meeting, Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Superintendent Scott Ziegler declared that “the predator transgender student or person simply does not exist,” and that to his knowledge, “we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms,” The Daily Wire reported.

Smith told the outlet that he flew into a rage at the meeting after Ziegler’s comments, and after a local progressive activist said she did not believe his daughter’s story.

But that’s not all. According to Smith, Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) wanted him to keep quiet. In fact, Smith claims he felt compelled to remain silent if his daughter were to get justice.

At last night’s Loudoun County School Board’s meeting, Superintendent Dr. Scott Ziegler faced multiple parents who accused him of “hiding evidence” to pass a “radical policy.”
