McAuliffe Staffers Try and Fail to Get Conservative Activist Arrested

Virginia is home to this year’s biggest, most contested political race. That means the Old Dominion is also home to campaign trackers—staffers who follow the opposing candidate hoping to record a gaffe or worse.

Despite that reality, the McAuliffe campaign was none too happy to see a conservative activist filming their candidate last night. Although they claimed that the tracker was trespassing, nearby police officers weren’t interested in intervening.

But that’s not all, as Townhall’s Katie Pavlich explains:

At a separate event Monday night, reporters were blocked from asking the campaign questions just hours ahead of voters heading to the polls Tuesday morning.

McAuliffe also canceled a campaign stop Monday that was scheduled for Virginia Beach.
