Police arrested Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Saturday night.
The arrest followed a traffic stop in Napa County, California. After pulling Mr. Pelosi over, the officer discovered he had been driving under the influence.

Mr. Pelosi was booked into the Napa County Correction Department early Sunday and released later that morning.

Paul Pelosi, 82, has been married to Nancy since 1963.
A spokesperson for Rep. Pelosi (D-Calif.) said that she would not be commenting on the “private” matter.
“The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast,” the spokesperson said.
Speaker Pelosi gave the commencement speech to graduates of Rhode Island’s Brown University earlier today. She reportedly urged the class of 2022 to unite our deeply divided country.
