With extreme prejudice…
An ex-special education teacher in Connecticut broke down in tears during a televised interview after stepping down from her position following threats she made against Trump supporters.
Annie Dunleavy, a former educator, faced backlash after a video surfaced on social media in which she warned, “Please don’t test your gangster on me because you’ll end on a stretcher gone forever.”

Fox News reports:
On Monday, Cheshire Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jeff Solan said in a statement that he was made aware of the Snapchat video over the weekend that allegedly showed Dunleavy making the threats.
“Unfortunately, it came to my attention over the weekend that someone had taken a video of one of our teachers who shared what she intended to be a private message to her group on Snapchat. She was expressing her personal opinion and not those of the Cheshire Public Schools,” the statement read.
“That being said, it is immediately clear that it will be impossible to conduct business as usual for our students and staff without temporarily removing the teacher from the building, so we have done so until the outcome of the investigation,” Solan continued.
In a statement sent to Fox News Digital, Solan said that Dunleavy has since resigned after his initial statement was issued.
When pressed about the statement, Dunleavy insisted her comments were misunderstood. “I wanted to basically just say, like, I’m not going to go down without a fight. I mean, you know, it’s my life’s dream to be a teacher,” she explained.

Dunleavy’s emotional defense came as the interviewer read the quote back to her verbatim, underscoring the serious nature of the allegations. Her resignation has sparked heated debate online, with many questioning the appropriateness of her remarks and the broader implications for educators expressing political opinions in public forums.
Cheshire Police confirmed on Thursday that no criminal charges would be pursued against Dunleavy.
“After investigating this incident including speaking with the originator of the video and consultation with the State’s Attorney Office at Meriden Superior Court, it was decided that no criminal charges would be brought in this case,” the department said in a statement.
