For this year’s July 4 celebrations, Youngkin, Sears, and Miyares all celebrated Virginia and America by spending time with Virginians all across the state.

Governor Youngkin in particular, who spent his day celebrating at Fairfax’s 56th annual Independence Day parade,  shared an inspirational message to Virginians, highlighting the commonwealth’s long history and importance in America’s legacy.

The video Youngkin shared a message through his Twitter and Youtube pages, highlights how Virginia is the “birthplace of America” where several of the founding fathers helped “draft, introduce, and sign the Deceleration of Independence, a document which unifies all of us with this great cause of freedom and justice for all.” A cause that “Virginians have fought and died for.”

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears also sent messages of celebration for both the state of Virginia and America, celebrating the country as a land of opportunity, as Miyares’s mother is a Cuban immigrant, and Sears herself is immigrant from the country of Jamaica.

Miyares also spent time with Virginia Senate hopeful Jen Kiggans, and House of Delegates Representative Anne Ferrell Tata at the Virginia Beach July 4th celebration.

In a time when Democrats seem possessed with the idea that it’s okay to tear down the the great nation that America is, it’s good to know the Virginia GOP still believe in what this country really stands for.
