Following Lego, Raytheon, Amazon and countless others, Governor Youngkin has announced two more massive expansions into Virginia’s economy.

The first business that announced it’s expansion is the international coffee company Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA. Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group is one of the largest vertically integrated coffee companies in North America and the North American operating unit of the Italy-based global coffee roaster and marketer which will invest $29.1 million to consolidate operations at its facility in the City of Suffolk.

Youngkin expressed his excitement in a statement, praising Suffolk and its residents:

“Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA’s continued expansion in Virginia speaks volumes about the business climate, infrastructure, and top-notch talent found in the City of Suffolk and the region.”

John Boyle, President & CEO, MZB-USA, also expressed his excitement at his companies expansion, saying “We are excited to be expanding our business and continuing our partnership with our friends from the City of Suffolk and the Hampton Roads Alliance, which reaffirms our commitment to this community.”

Following that, the second company that announced it’s investment into the commonwealth is EAB, the leading provider of education research, technology, and marketing and enrollment solutions. On will invest at least $6 million and add more than 200 jobs in Henrico County over the next five years. To facilitate that growth, the firm also plans to relocate from two locations on East Parham Road and consolidate its Richmond-based operations into a 70,000-square-foot space at the SunTrust Building on West Broad Street.

“EAB has been a committed business partner in Virginia for more than 30 years, and we are thrilled to see its continued expansion and investment in Henrico County,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin.” The firm’s success reinforces the importance of attracting and retaining a skilled workforce that is helping fulfill EAB’s mission to improve education and communities across the country.”

One of Youngkin’s main focuses when running for Virginia governor was his ability to kickstart and expand Virginia’s economy. Time and time again, with each new expansion comes new jobs and Youngkin has continued to fulfill his campaign promises.
