Youngkin Puts His Political Capital Down

Governor Glenn Youngkin of Virginia speaking with supporters of Kari Lake at a campaign rally at Dillon Precision in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Governor Glenn Youngkin is endorsing two additional candidates for the House of Delegates – Del. Tommy Wright in District 50 and Mike Dillender in District 84, which is a contested primary.

The Governor has now made 66 endorsements this cycle including 10 in contested nominations. Three of Governor Youngkin’s endorsed candidates have already secured the Republican nomination – Sen. Bryce Reeves in Senate District 28, Del. John McGuire in Senate District 10, and Del. Jason Ballard in District 42 – with seven more to be decided on June 20th.

“Now is not the time to rest, we need to keep our foot on the accelerator as we continue to strengthen the spirit of Virginia. I cannot do it alone, so today I’m excited to endorse Del. Tommy Wright, a dedicated public servant and experienced legislator who gets results and Mike Dillender, a retired Navy Captain and small business owner. Both are committed to making Virginia the best place in the country to live, work, and raise a family,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin.
