America’s 45th president Donald Trump, and 2024 presumptive Republican nominee weighed in on Virginia’s Republican primary for U.S. Senate Monday, once again encouraging his supporters to turn out for Tuesday’s primary election.
Posting to his Truth Social account, Trump encouraged voters to pick Hung Cao in the Senate primary once again.
Trump first announced his support of Cao last month. The other race Trump has weighed in on is the VA-05 primary, where he has picked State Sen. John McGuire over incumbent Congressman Bob Good, who chairs the House Freedom Caucus. This evening, Trump participated in a ‘tele-rally’ for McGuire ahead of his in-person rally in Racine, Wisconsin set to be held on Tuesday.
