The group of members – led by South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace – cosponsoring the resolution skews younger and hails from more vulnerable electoral districts than the predominant majority of GOP lawmakers in the House of Representatives.

Mace’s list of initial cosponsors includes Jen Kiggans (VA-02), Anthony D’Esposito (NY-04), Nick LaLota (NY-01), David Schweikert (AZ-01), Don Bacon (NE-02) and Jeff Van Drew (NJ-02).
