AG Miyares Rails Against Attacks On Pregnancy Centers In New Documentary

A new documentary about Pro-life pregnancy centers produced by the Heritage Foundation highlights the violence that these centers endured as they were targeted by radical pro-abortion activists in the lead-up to and the aftermath of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade this summer.

Pregnancy Centers across the country were targeted, including the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center in Lynchburg, VA.

AG Miyares spoke at the center after it was vandalized.

As reported by The Daily Signal, Myares makes the following statement in the new documentary titled “Why the Rise in Attacks on Pregnancy Resource Centers?

“Anybody who thinks that it’s OK to vandalize a center that’s aimed at helping women [in] their most desperate needs are cowards by every definition,” Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares said during a visit to the Lynchburg pregnancy center following the act of vandalism.

“They hide behind a mask and they think they’re making a political statement,” Miyares, a Republican, said of those who vandalize pregnancy centers. “They’re absolutely victimizing the very women they claim that they’re standing up for.”

Miyares also included the following sentiment in the feature:

“I can guarantee you that if it was the other way around, if it had been 40 abortion clinics that had been vandalized, you would hear it on the front page of almost every newspaper in the country.

there has been such a I think monstrous lie that has been perpetrated in the media that crisis pregnancy centers are only there temporarily of they’re there to, quote, “trick women”

Miyares also used his appearance in the feature to call out Senator Elizabeth Warren’s recent targeting of such centers.

Be sure to view the full documentary on Youtube to see exactly what Miyares said about Warren, and also to hear directly from Susan Campbell, the head of the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center.
